(10/03/24) UPDATE: server is back up, please read the new announcement
For the foreseeable future, the instant messaging server will be down. It crashed sometime this month and I caught it a few weeks ago. Basic attempts at restoring the server failed, and will have to be reworked fresh. Which is fine since it only had test accounts and garbage in the database. Alpha testing and additional development patches/content for Mocha will be halted until I am able to fix this issue. I am simply too busy with my personal life to fix the server at this time. An update will be posted when I can put aside some time into getting the server back up and running and the status page will reflect that when completed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I think I be able to get the server back up and running more sooner than expected, it seems to be a networking issue and not something more technical. Only time will tell :/
